Well, I'm back from my family visit. I hope I didn't miss too much while I was gone.

It's a shame John had to leave as soon as I came back. All I got was something about a mission, or something. I hope he'll return in one piece...

Well, I just recently joined in on one of John's Firearms class. Hm. Maybe 'joined in' is the wrong phrase, considering it was just me and one student that happened to be passing by. It was interesting to say the least.

It's a bit of a shame that I'll be leaving for home so soon, though. Oh well. Here's hoping I won't forget what I learned before I come back.

Well, first day here and I already ran into some trouble. My fathers would be so proud. The keyboard in the library that I'm supposed to use was made for human hands, not Linyaari hands. I suppose I'll have to put in a work order to try and fix it.
